Mineral:Grossular Garnet
Locality:Trantimou, Kayes Region, Mali
Description:Translucent brown grossular garnet crystals in a hemispherical cluster over massive garnet matrix. The crystal faces have small pitting where another mineral was intergrown in the grossular, then dissolved away.
Overall Size:4.5x4x3 cm
Crystals:4-20 mm
