Locality:Blackdene Mine, Ireshopeburn, Weardale, County Durham, England
Description:Large plate of purple fluorite crystals to 18 mm on edge completely covering one face of the matrix. The fluorite crystals are interpenetrant twins and many have whitish inclusions. One large crystal is chipped. Fluoresces violet under UV illumination.
