Description: | Complex calcite crystal 40 mm high showing successive growths over a scalenohedral core crystal on quartz pseudomorphs after blocky anhydrite crystals up to 50 mm long. The anhydrite formed first, then was overgrown with quartz crystals up to 1 mm. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #6254; ex. Ron Bentley (1948-1995) in 1980 |
