Locality:Rose Quartz Locality, Plumbago Mountain, Oxford County, Maine
Description:Transparent pink rose quartz crystals on white albite matrix with minor muscovite overgrown with gray quartz microcrystals. The pink color of the rose quartz is good. For unknown reasons crystals of rose quartz occur at only a handful of localities. Collected in June 1969 by Cliff Trebilcock
