Locality:Virginia Lime and Marble Quarry, 1 mile south of Mountville, Loudoun County, Virginia
Description:Sparkling brown grossular garnet crystals in colorless calcite vein on green matrix with small green-black platy clinochlore crystals and translucent epidote crystals scattered throughout. Looks beautiful under magnification. Ex. Ned Blandford, originally collected in 1951
