Description: | Tan-colored prismatic diopside crystals up to 6 mm long overgrown on gray-brown grossular garnet microcrystals with larger glassy orange grossular crystals up to 11 mm across along one edge. Looks beautiful under magnification. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #1186, acquired in 1976 from Wards |
