Description: | Doubly-terminated group of parallel quartz crystals with dark-smoky to pale-purple amethyst color internally and glassy crystal faces. The quartz cluster is fully crystallized front and rear and has few albite inclusions that were common to the locality. Collected May-June 2000 |
