Locality:Rockville Crushed Stone Quarry, Montgomery County, Maryland
Description:Transparent to translucent red grossular garnet crystals on massive grossular matrix. The grossular crystals are flattened dodecahedral form with waxy surface luster. One crystal is incomplete. Ex. Ned Reynolds (1923 - 2005); ex. John Cranford in 1967
