Description: | Translucent red-brown grossular garnet crystals with colorless calcite filling some of the cavities protecting the garnets. The calcite could be chipped or etched away to expose more of the grossular crystals. Collected ca. 1963-64; ex. Carnegie Museum of Natural History (Pittsburgh) |
