Locality:Goodall Farm Quarry, Sanford, York County, Maine
Description:Lustrous prismatic vesuvianite crystals in massive vesuvianite matrix with minor colorless quartz. Though the termination of the largest crystal is incomplete, this is still a good miniature from this old locality (my personal favorite collecting site). Ex. Duane and Nancy Leavitt collection (authors of Mineralogy of the Sanford Vesuvianite Deposit in Min. Rec. in 1993)
