Locality:Passo del Faiallo, Urbe, Savona, Liguria, Italy
Description:Superb specimen of lustrous blood-red grossular garnet crystals up to 7 mm across with platy green clinochlore crystals up to 2.5 mm across. The clinochlore crystals are binding the upper grossular crystals in position as the matrix has a part fracture.
