Description: | Large scalenohedral calcite crystal 10 cm long with second generation of rhombohedral calcite crystals overgrown on the main crystal resulting in surfaces composed of parallel rhombic faces. This is the largest crystal I have seen from this locality. Ex. W.B. Thompson |
