Description: | Classic Eisenrose (iron rose) formation of platy hexagonal metallic hematite crystals in a cluster of increasing crystal size at the edges resembling the petals of a rose, with albite attached at the bottom edge. Both front and rear are complete. Ex. Robert C. Lambert (1919-2008) #332; acquired in 1984 from V. Yount |
