Description: | Lustrous transparent red rhodochrosite crystals to 15 mm intergrown with dark metallic tetrahedrite crystals to 7 mm. One rhodochrosite crystal has cleaved faces on the corner, apparently where it contacted the opposing wall of the cavity it formed in. Ex. Robert C. Lambert (1919-2008) #564; ex.
