Description: | Translucent ruby crystals, the pink gem variety of the mineral species corundum, with remnants of marble on the rear. The ruby crystals are pseudo octahedral form and in parallel orientation. The crystal faces show crystallization lines on most crystals. Ex. Robert C. Lambert (1919-2008) #316; acquired in 2000 |
