Description: | Brilliantly lustrous vivid-blue azurite crystals on green malachite with yellow-green duftite. The bright blue color is due to the translucency of the azurite crystals that allow light to pass through the edges of the thin crystals. Ex. Robert C. Lambert (1919-2008) #482; acquired in 1990 |
