Locality:Huaron District, Cerro de Pasco Province, Pasco Department, Peru
Description:Twinned crystals of pale-pink rhodochrosite to 30 mm across with transparent colorless quartz crystals to 27 mm long. The surfaces of the rhodochrosite crystals are composed of microscopic parallel crystal faces. One quartz is chipped. Ex. Robert C. Lambert (1919-2008) #160; acquired in 1992 from Classic Minerals
