Description: | Lustrous hot-pink dolomite crystals (frequently mislabeled as cobaltian calcite) on matrix mounted to an acrylic display stand. The dolomite crystals are transparent (not the typical translucent). The color is caused by cobalt impurities. Ex. Robert C. Lambert (1919-2008) #128; acquired in 1993 |
