Description: | Sharp scalenohedral calcite crystals colored brick-red due to microscopic hematite inclusions. Perched on the top is a cross-shaped group of twinned crystals - a double twin. One of the crystals has two tiny edge nicks near the tip on the rear. Ex. Robert C. Lambert (1919-2008) #399; acquired in 1997 |
