Locality:Cave-in-Rock District, Hardin County, Illinois
Description:Translucent yellow hexagonal nail-head calcite crystals up to 35 mm long overgrown on cubic purple fluorite crystals up to 28 mm across. The calcite crystals have scalenohedral internal phantoms visible inside. The specimen sits upright without support. Ex. Robert C. Lambert (1919-2008) #242; acquired in 1977
