Description: | Prismatic hexagonal white aragonite crystals with lustrous crystal faces and slightly tapered shapes. This is the lead-rich variety of aragonite known locally as Tarnowitzite. The aragonite crystals fluoresce moderately under UV illumination. Ex. Robert C. Lambert (1919-2008) #350; acquired in 1973 |
