Description: | Classic specimen of nailhead calcite called that due to the shallow three-faced pyramidal terminations resemble old hand-forged nailheads. Prismatic translucent calcite crystals up to 65 mm long have a cluster of iridescent chalcopyrite on one side. Ex. Robert C. Lambert (1919-2008) #319; acquired in 1974 from Gary Hansen |
