Description: | Transparent blue beryl (variety aquamarine) crystals up to 16 mm long on matrix of silvery muscovite mica crystals up to 11 mm across. The aquamarine crystals are short hexagonal prisms with flat basal pinacoid terminations with secondary edge faces. Ex. Robert C. Lambert (1919-2008) #79; acquired in 1991 from D. Blauwet |
