Description: | Blocky pale-pink calcite crystals up to 20 mm across with yellow-metallic 1 mm pyrite crystals scattered over several sides of the specimen. The pink color of the calcite is due to high manganese content. Fluoresces orange under UV illumination. Ex. Robert C. Lambert (1919-2008) #147; acquired in 1991 |
