Description: | Unusual malachite specimen from Tsumeb: red-orange matrix coated with translucent prismatic green malachite microcrystals. Under magnification these look more like mimetite crystals, but I trust the previous label and identification. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #199; originally acquired in 1960 from Sid Fisher |
