Mineral:Fluorite on Calcite with Pyrite
Locality:Pint's Quarry, Raymond, Black Hawk County, Iowa
Description:Transparent brown cubic fluorite crystals up to 4 mm across on colorless scalenohedral calcite crystals up to 3 mm with scattered metallic pyrite microcrystals. The fluorite crystals fluoresce bright white under UV illumination.
