Description: | Translucent tan-colored hollow cookeite pseudomorphs after elongated spodumene crystals up to 8 cm long. The spodumene formed first, the cookeite grew over the spodumene, then the spodumene dissolved. The open ends show hollow interiors. Ex. Pasadena City College; ex. Vance collection |
