Mineral:Calcite on Quartz and Epidote
Locality:Borieva Reka Mine, Madan District, Rhodope Mountains, Bulgaria
Description:Large platy crystals of pale-pink manganese-rich calcite crystals up to 14 cm across on Slender transparent quartz crystals up to 20 mm long over green epidote matrix. The calcite fluoresces bright orange under UV illumination. The right rear is cleaved.
