Mineral:Cuprite on Calcite and Malachite
Locality:Tsumeb Mine, Otavi-Bergland District, Oshikoto, Namibia
Description:Translucent dark-red cuprite crystals up to 4 mm on translucent colorless calcite crystals up to 4 mm. Some of the calcite crystals have green inclusions of malachite microcrystals. The calcite fluoresces orange under UV illumination.
