Locality:Richmond Soapstone Quarry, Cheshire County, New Hampshire
Description:Translucent olive-green talc pseudomorph after a prismatic hexagonal cordierite crystal embedded in quartz matrix. The cordierite crystallized first, then altered to talc but maintaining the original form, possibly with a cordierite core.
