Locality:Hillsboro, Socorro County, New Mexico
Description:Dense mass of black metallic psilomelane crystals in a thick crust of elongated crystals with minor milky quartz. One face shows termination faces. Psilomelane is an obsolete mineral species that is usually romanechite.
