Mineral:Andradite-Grossular Garnet
Locality:Trantimou, Kayes Region, Mali
Description:Large dodecahedral andradite-grossular garnets crystals (both species occur here, testing is required for exact identification) with greenish coating of microcrystalline garnet. A few areas without the coating reveal translucent yellow-brown garnet.
Overall Size:6x5.5x4 cm
Crystals:5-22 mm
