Mineral:Apophyllite on Pectolite with Pyrite
Locality:Millington Quarry, Bernards Township, Somerset County, New Jersey
Description:Blocky colorless translucent apophyllite crystals up to 8 mm across with scattered pyrite microcrystals and colorless apophyllite microcrystals on thin crusts of white pectolite that formed over a mineral that dissolved away leaving hollow voids.
Overall Size:7x2x3 cm
