Description: | Elongated transparent amethystine pink quartz crystals up to 65 mm long with brown-black platy goethite crystals to 3 mm (resembles Colorado goethite) with small group of acicular green malachite microcrystals. The quartz has a whitish coating in areas. Ex. Steve Chamberlain collection #1642; originally acquired in 1977 from Ron Bentley (1948-1995) |
