Mineral:Quartz var. Milky-Amethyst with Limonite coating
Locality:Deer Hill, Stow, Oxford County, Maine
Description:Large milky quartz crystals in parallel orientation with the termination surfaces coated with brown limonite. The limonite can be removed using various cleaners for dissolving rust like Iron Out or C.L.R. All crystals are complete but there a few chips. Collected in 1956
