Locality:Penfield Quarry, Portland, Middlesex County, Connecticut
Description:Elongated brown-black ishikawaite crystals embedded in feldspar matrix with areas of smoky quartz. The ishikawaite crystals are radioactive and have brown reaction rims around the crystals. I am told identification was verified using XRD.
