Locality:Crestmore, Commercial Quarry, Riverside County, California
Description:Large single crystal of translucent orange-brown grossular garnet exposed on two sides of translucent gray rhombohedral calcite. It might be possible to expose more of the grossular crystal. The specimen is mounted to an acrylic display base for support. Ex. Fred DeVito (1937-2004)
