Locality:Himalaya Mine, Mesa Grande District, San Diego County, California
Description:Translucent pink rubellite tourmaline crystal 35 mm long with rosettes of lilac-colored lepidolite crystals all around the sides. The rubellite crystal is terminated with basal pinacoid and secondary faces and has a green zone at the termination.
