Mineral:Prehnite pseudomorph after Anhydrite with Babingtonite and Laumontite
Locality:Prospect Park Quarry, Prospect Park, Passaic County, New Jersey
Description:Translucent green prehnite in spherical crystal aggregates up to 5 mm diameter that formed over a large anhydrite crystal that eventually dissolved leaving a cast (epimorph) plus many bladed dark green babingtonite crystals to 1 mm with white laumontite.
Overall Size:11x7x4 cm
Crystals:micro to 2 mm
