Locality: | north shore of Panther Pond (Camp Hinds), Raymond, Cumberland County, Maine |
Description: | Shallow cavity lined with transparent-to-translucent red-orange garnet crystals (labeled as spessartine, but is most likely grossular). An incorrect locality (Buckfield) was given on the old label, but it likely from the Panther Pond locality in Raymond. Ex. Lazard Cahn collection, collected in 1904 |
