Description: | Sharp black trapezohedral almandine garnet crystals in muscovite-albite-quartz pegmatite. The crystals are about one-half complete and altered into the surrounding pegmatite on the rear. One corner has a small chip missing. Ex. Ned Blandford, originally acquired in 1949 |
