Mineral:Sphalerite (Spinel-law twinned) with Chalcopyrite
Locality:Commodore Mine, Creede District, Mineral County, Colorado
Description:Transparent brown Spinel-law twinned sphalerite crystals up to 11 mm across with yellow metallic chalcopyrite crystals to 10 mm. The sphalerite crystals are quite gemmy. The largest crystal has a cleavage face on the outer side where it was trimmed.
Overall Size:7x4x2.5 cm
