| Description: | Green malachite pseudomorphs after bladed azurite crystals up to 13 mm across on a matrix coated with an opaque white crystals, probably smithsonite, to 1 mm across. Note the surfaces of the pseudomorphs are covered with lustrous, fibrous malachite. Ex. Chas. W. Velte Jr. (1914-1987) collection #53 |
