Mineral:Fluorite on Quartz
Locality:Rogerley Mine, County Durham, England
Description:Transparent green cubic fluorite crystals to 8 mm across on colorless quartz crystals to 4 mm. The bottom was sawn to remove excess matrix without damaging the crystals. The fluorite fluoresces violet under UV illumination.
