Description: | Translucent pale-brown (beige) aragonite crystals to 6 mm long with bright yellow translucent sulfur crystals to 12 mm on a banded formation on translucent brown aragonite. The aragonite fluoresces and phosphoresces under UV illumination. Ex. Henry D. Miller (1838-1919 or 1920) collection, (see Final Disposition Of Some American Collections Of Minerals, Frederick A. Canfield, 1923), bequeathed to the Wadsworth Atheneum in 1909; ex. Loomis-Chaffee School |
