Description: | Large single crystal of almandine garnet with dodecahedral crystal form and surfaces coated with greenish mica schist. Three corners are incomplete. Ex. Henry D. Miller (1838-1919 or 1920) collection, (see Final Disposition Of Some American Collections Of Minerals, Frederick A. Canfield, 1923), bequeathed to the Wadsworth Atheneum in 1909; ex. Loomis-Chaffee School |
