Description: | Transparent purple apatite crystals up to 11 mm long on one face of quartz matrix with lustrous milky quartz crystals to 4 mm long. The apatite are lustrous hexagonal crystals with excellent color for the locality. Ex. Henry D. Miller (1838-1919 or 1920) collection, (see Final Disposition Of Some American Collections Of Minerals, Frederick A. Canfield, 1923), bequeathed to the Wadsworth Atheneum in 1909; ex. Loomis-Chaffee School |
