Description: | Brassy acicular millerite crystals to 12 mm long in sprays nestled deep in a quartz-lined cavity with translucent yellow-gray ferroan-dolomite crystals to 5 mm and rosettes to 2 mm diameter of bronze-colored stilpnomelane crystals. Ex. Henry D. Miller (1838-1919 or 1920) collection, (see Final Disposition Of Some American Collections Of Minerals, Frederick A. Canfield, 1923), bequeathed to the Wadsworth Atheneum in 1909; ex. Loomis-Chaffee School |
