Description: | Rich specimen of acicular olive-green olivenite crystals in spherical aggregates to 1.5 mm diameter lining all surfaces of a complex cavity in brown gossan. The olivenite crystals look beautiful under magnification. Ex. Henry D. Miller (1838-1919 or 1920) collection, (see Final Disposition Of Some American Collections Of Minerals, Frederick A. Canfield, 1923), bequeathed to the Wadsworth Atheneum in 1909; ex. Loomis-Chaffee School |
