Description: | Blocky amazonite crystals, the green lead-rich variety of the mineral species microcline. One side of the cluster shows the amazonite crystals are curved slightly. Ex. Henry D. Miller (1838-1919 or 1920) collection, (see Final Disposition Of Some American Collections Of Minerals, Frederick A. Canfield, 1923), bequeathed to the Wadsworth Atheneum in 1909; ex. Loomis-Chaffee School |
